colivet

Indications:

for the treatment of infections caused by gram negative bacteria sensitive to colistin

colistin as sulphate
m.i.u/100 ml 200

Reliability:

Colistin is unique in that it does not create resistance to gram negative bacteria. This feature gives it a clear priority for the purposes of (a) prevention in the start-up phase (b) and in combination with synergistic antibiotics that create resistance (such as ampicillin, amoxicillin, sulfonamides + trimethoprim, aminosides, flumequine).

The liquid colistin offers high solubility and convenience in treatment, which are preferred over the use of powders available in any form of administration (water or injection).

Shortest waiting time for slaughter:

one day!! Compared to 7 days in the equivalent powders on the market.
